HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO GET TATTOOED?

 

• You must be the minimum of 18 years of age to get tattooed

• We do not tattoo minors, even with parental consent

CAN I GET TATTOOED IF I AM PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?

​

We do not recommend getting tattooed if breastfeeding and do not tattoo pregnant persons. If you have any further questions, we recommend speaking to your doctor prior to booking an appointment.

WHAT DOES A CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT CONSIST OF?

 

• There is no cost for a consultation

• During a consultation appointment you will meet with your assigned artist to review the details of your design. At this time the artist will go over the nature and possibilities of your request and will be able to work with you to create the best possible outcome for your tattoo design. Keep in mind that not all ideas and designs are suitable for a tattoo, trust your artists opinion to achieve the best possible design.

• We request you provide any reference materials prior to the consult for your artist to review.

DOES THE STUDIO TAKE WALK-INS?

​

• We primarily have set bookings for our artists however when we do have availability, due to a cancellation or no show we will advertise on our social media. At that time, walk-ins will be addressed on a first come first serve basis, based on artist availability and style. Keep in mind not all pieces are able to be done as walk-in tattoos.

WHEN IS MY DEPOSIT DUE + HOW MUCH?

​

• Deposit amount varies depending on the piece you’re getting. Smaller pieces require a deposit of 50 + HST. For any hourly rate pieces, a deposit of one hour is required. The deposit then goes towards the final price of your tattoo. If the tattoo requires more than one session, your deposit will be deducted from the final session.

• If you need to reschedule your tattoo appointment, 48 hours’ notice must be given or your deposit will be forfeited.

• All deposits are non-refundable

HOW MUCH WILL MY TATTOO COST?

 

• Tattoos are charged either by the piece or by the hour. Pieces that exceed three hours of tattooing will be charged by hour. Those under three hours will be charged by the piece.

• The price of a piece is determined by subject, style, placement, colours, detail, and size. The hourly rates of our artists do differ, call us or come in for a consultation to find out. We can also provide quotes by reviewing your references photos and additional notes.

WHAT IS THE STUDIO MINIMUM?

 

• The shop minimum is $150 + HST to open a station. This covers the set-up fee and materials used for your tattoo.

DOES THE STUDIO OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

​

• If you would like to leave a larger deposit at the time of booking that is possible. We can also accept additional payments which will be tracked to be deducted at the time of your appointment.  

 

 

CAN I BRING MY OWN DESIGNS?

​

• We offer custom designs and artwork for your tattoo. Artists will use your references and notes to design something custom and one of a kind for you.

• We acknowledge somethings need to be the same as references however should you want to bring your own design the artist will let you know if it will translate well into a tattoo.

 

 

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY TATTOO?

 

• We recommend that you wear loose, comfortable clothing to make sure that nothing will be rubbing against your fresh tattoo.

• Eat prior to your tattoo session

• Don't drink in excess prior to your appointment 

 

  

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?

 

• In order to cancel or reschedule an appointment you must provide 48 hour’s notice before your scheduled appointment time.

• Cancellations and rescheduling of appointments made inside of the 48-hour notification period will result in the loss of your deposit.

• If you are looking to reschedule your appointment after having lost your original deposit, an additional deposit will be required.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY TATTOO IS FULLY HEALED?

​

•  Follow aftercare provided by the studio

• Your tattoo is considered healed when it is no longer, itchy, shiny or peeling. Your tattoo will feel as one with your skin and you wont be able to tell where your tattoo is when you run your fingers over.

  DO YOU OFFER FREE TOUCH UPS?

​

• DTC offers one free touch up on work originally tattooed by them within three months of receiving their tattoo.

• Exemption of a free touch up will also include anyone who no-shows a scheduled touch up appointment, disregarding the importance of the artist’s time.
